REsearch in English Linguistics
(REEL Day 2020)
Digital data in English linguistics:
Language in Politics
Frankfurt, 15.2.2019, 9.45am – 6pm, IG 411
The workshop is intended to offer students a forum to present their work to fellow students from a different university. The focus of the papers should be corpus-based studies on English, but other languages and other approaches can be taken into consideration as well.
The REEL Day on Digital Data in English Linguistics is a joint Mainz-Frankfurt student workshop initiative. After the positive experience of the REEL Day series in Mainz, the first joint event took place in 2019, based on parallel seminars taught at Gutenberg University Mainz and Goethe University Frankfurt.
The workshop is supported by the Förderfonds Lehre (Frankfurt).
Students interested in submitting an abstract can participate in the Förderfonds project’s academic license for the BYU corpus interface.
