Workshop description

This workshop is organized as first event in a networking  project in collaboration with the Kyung Hee University (Seoul, Korea). The aim  is to explore various negation-related phenomena such as negative polar questions, negative dependencies, and negative concord  in German and Korean (primarily), as well as to identify common patterns and structures in the use of negation in these two languages. A central point is also the study of the implications of Large Language Models (LLM) for the investigations of negation.
