Sascha Bargmann and Manfred Sailer are participating in the Parseme 1st Training School in Prague, January 19-23, 2015.
The training school is organized by the COST Action Parsing and Multiword Expressions (PARSEME). It comprises the following four courses:
- Dan Flickinger (Stanford University) teaches an Introduction to HPSG with challenges from MWEs
- Joakim Nivre (Uppsala University) presents dependency grammar, dependency parsing, MWEs and universal dependencies.I
- Shuly Wintner (University of Haifa) & Manfred Sailer (Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a. Main) speak about linguistic properties of MWEs, challenges from languages other than English and an example for encoding MWEs in a computational lexicon. (slides)
- Pavel Straňák, Jiří Mírovský and Jan Hajič (Charles University, Prague) present resources available in connection with the activities around the Prague treebank.
