Monica-Mihaela Rizea’s and Manfred’s research on negative polarity items (NPI) has just appeared in a special issue of Linguisticae Investigationes on Interfaces in Romance: A constraint-based approach (edited by Gabriela Bîlbîie):

Monica and Manfred propose a constraint-based, representational rendering of pragmatic theories of NPI-licensing. This allows them to capture the occurrences of various types of NPIs in different types of result clause constructions in Romanian.
The paper is based on joint work during Monica’s research visits in Frankfurt and a joint conference paper at the International Conference on HPSG 2019.
